A private lodge in the rainforest

I can't say enough about this place!! The owners are so nice and accommodating! The rooms and lovely and clean and so thought out! The porch with hot tub is one of our favorite parts! And the animals are all so sweet! Milo is a keeper — but he has the best life ever with them!!

I cannot say enough good things about this place and the host. I booked through Airbnb and everything from start to finish was incredible. Very clean, peaceful environment, private hot tub and cute little walking trails right to a stream and a cute little farm with chickens and goats. Shared pool that was very clean and not a far drive from stores and town. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing experience! The lodge was perfect — cozy but still space to enjoy with a family of 6. The grounds were immaculate and awesome to roam around. We loved the farm and named all the animals! Hopefully we will get the chance to return one day.

This place has been the absolute best VRBO I have ever stayed in. It had everything you need but with a loving, welcoming atmosphere. They cleaned our place almost daily, brought us fresh organic chicken eggs daily, and left us a welcome gift basket one night. The botanical gardens that surround the property are beautiful and peaceful, and a river flows through the back with a grounding sound.

I had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful family session at Bukala Village Lodge in La Fortuna, Costa Rica — one of the most special locations for photography in the country, surrounded by nature, volcano views, and a peaceful atmosphere that creates the perfect setting for meaningful family photos.
